When people abandon their pets, they don’t seem to feel guilty about it, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to stop it.
Thank goodness, there are people who shine through the shadows, like Josiane Lúcia De Almeida da Silva.
Last year, Josiane, an animal rescuer, received a call to a very isolated part of Brazil. Just outside of a metropolis, three small puppies in dire need of emergency care were found near an unlawful garbage disposal site.It’s likely that someone drove these poor puppies to the unclean location and abandoned them there.
As Josiane walked along the sandy road, she had no idea what to anticipate when three small dogs suddenly sprung out of the ditch. They were aware that they needed help, despite their first appearance of terror. Eventually, they found the courage to go up to Josiane.
Before long, the small beings started to trust Josiane because they thought she meant well. But Josiane had bigger plans than just showing the puppies love and comfort; she was going to actually change their path in life.
Despite the dogs’ deplorable health, Josiane decided to bring them home.

Clarissa Castro Braga, a veterinarian and Josiane’s acquaintance, told The Dodo, “She took care of them at her house.”
“She gave them nourishing food and made sure they had the necessary immunizations and dewormings.”
Why someone would be so heartless as to desert them in the middle of nowhere is hard to understand. What counts most, though, is that Josiane, an angel, decided to assist them.
Of course, the dogs were ideal; they were lively, active, and ready to provide love to everyone.
As the puppies became a little older and stronger, Josiane and the veterinarian Clarissa decided it was time for them to find their own families. Thankfully, all three dogs were able to find new homes because to an event held by Clarissa’s clinic. What a wonderful way to end!
So allow me to restate. If you’re not ready to care for a dog, don’t get one in the first place. Pets aren’t like toys—we can’t just throw them away when we become tired of them!
