Now, let’s introduce you to Jadyn Rylee, a 17-year-old Canadian woman with 368,000 YouTube fans. Jadyn was born on February 14, 2006, and according to her parents, Colin and Tara, she started singing at the age of two. Her family began to realize she might have true potential when she discovered Miley Cyrus’ popular song “The Climb” when she was three years old.
Jadyn performed a stirring rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence” alongside YouTube drumming star Sina. Disturbed’s rendition of the song has garnered over 22 million views on YouTube, indicating the popularity of their cover.
Fortunately for Jadyn and her horde of admirers, her parents recognized her talent and started searching for a vocal teacher. Unfortunately, because most schools wouldn’t work with anyone younger than eight, this endeavor turned out to be more challenging than anticipated. However, their perseverance paid off, and they located Aura Urziceanu, who started working with Jadyn at the age of six.
After two years of helping Aura hone her skills, Jadyn began working with Sarah Hyde, a new coach. Sarah could teach Jadyn both of these skills because she was a vocal teacher and a performing artist.
In 2015, at the age of nine, Jadyn launched her YouTube channel. She does versions of well-known songs, and her videos have had over 77 million views overall! This is a remarkable accomplishment before she was even 14 years old, which would be an incredible amount for a well-known artist in their 30s. With 19 million views, her most well-known video is the Sound of Silence, which was first recorded by the renowned pair Simon and Garfunkel.
Jadyn is a Mini Pop Kid as well. The teen ensemble traveled across Canada, creating TV ads, studying choreography, and performing in shows. Even though it’s a lot for a young woman, she seems to be handling it well.
But Jadyn isn’t satisfied with just doing other people’s work. To collaborate with Big Matador Records’ singer, songwriter, and producer Curt Ryle, she took a plane from her home outside of Toronto to Nashville. They collaborated to create Voice of Change, Jadyn’s debut original album. Jadyn has expressed her sadness over the bullying that occurs in schools and her deep desire to assist others. She aimed to infuse her music with a sense of love and support.
There is more to her success story than that. She was named the Josie Music Awards’ Female Vocalist of the Year in 2019. She was also cast in Sean Penn’s film Flag Day and went to the Canadian Talent and Model Convention. She took a plane to Cannes for the film festival, where the film was given a standing ovation that lasted four minutes. Since most fourteen-year-olds are focused on school and males, it is quite remarkable that she has accomplished all of this at this stage of her life.
Jadyn has no boyfriend because she is so young. She is a highly talented and attractive girl, though, so she will have many of suitors if she ever finds time in her hectic schedule as she ages. She prioritizes her education, her music, and spending time with her family—including her younger sister Devyn, who frequently appears on Jadyn’s social media posts—until that time.
How much is Jadyn’s net worth after all of this work? An estimated $500,000 is involved! The fact that this incredible youngster, who isn’t even old enough to drive, drink, or vote, has earned half a million pounds from her concerts and goods is just astounding. Jadyn is undoubtedly someone to watch, it’s safe to say. Follow this amazing young musician on Facebook or subscribe to her YouTube channel if you want to see more from her.
