When asked about her past relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jennifer Lopez allegedly stormed out of an event.
The 55-year-old J-Lo previously said that her two-year romance with the infamous musician left her “emotionally exhausted.”
Combs, who is also 55, was arrested in September on charges of running a s**ual crime empire and possessing a handgun and drugs.
The rapper has refuted the accusations against him on numerous occasions.
Combs stays at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until the start of his trial.
Following the completion of the music video for Lopez’s hit, “If You Had My Love,” Combs and Lopez started dating.
According to Radar Online, the couple’s first public appearance at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards caused them to go viral very fast.
The two made headlines months after they started when they were arrested on weapons possession charges after a club incident in 1999 left three people hurt.
Combs and Lopez were later found not guilty.
After the incident, Lopez wore her famous plunging green dress to the 42nd Grammy Awards, which the couple attended.
Lopez and Combs parted ways in 2001.
Combs never made a public statement about Lopez’s suspicions of infidelity, which she revealed to Vibe two years later when she spoke up about their relationship.
“I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy, and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin,” the singer of “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” stated, as reported by Us Weekly.
“I just knew, but I never caught him. He would claim to be off to a club for a few hours, but he would never return that evening.
According to MailOnline, Lopez also described their relationship as “extremely turbulent.” It was emotionally draining in the end. I was fortunate to be young.
Those who once interacted with the disgraced record producer have been in the news after Diddy’s arrest.
Lopez was most recently accused of being unexpectedly questioned about her ex-boyfriend during a crowded event.
According to MailOnline, a leaked video shows the “On The Floor” singer signing autographs as she left the AFI FEST 2024 Unstoppable screening and Q&A in Los Angeles.
Regarding her connection to Combs, Lopez, who is currently divorcing Ben Affleck, sidestepped a personal topic.
“J-Lo, do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?” a fan inquired.
The celebrity “stormed off” and stopped signing autographs right away, despite fans’ pleas for her to stay.
