As he prepared for one of his upcoming films, fans were able to see a different side of Irish actor Pierce Brosnan, who is best known for showing off his thick beard and copious amounts of silver hair.

When the “Die Another Day” actor shared an Instagram picture of himself disguised as famous boxing trainer Brendan Ingle, fans almost missed it. Brosnan had shaved off all his facial hair and had much thinner hair, and he wore circular glasses.
The actor is now filming the movie “Giant,” which stars Brosnan as boxer Prince Naseem’s famous trainer and chronicles his remarkable journey from poverty to glory.

Fans expressed their disbelief at the shift in the comment section, as well as their excitement for the biopic. An Instagram user said, “I almost didn’t recognize you without all your pretty hair.” Not everyone on the internet realized that Brosnan was acting in a role. He’s aged out, a commentator continued.
Not all remarks, though, were unfavorable; several viewers expressed curiosity about Brosnan’s interpretation of the well-known boxing coach. “I’m interested in watching this interesting movie you’re playing soon,” a fan commented on the internet.
One individual expressed similar enthusiasm by saying, “You rock in everything you do, Pierce,” while another person could only think of one word to characterize Brosnan’s abilities: “class.”
The “Mamma Mia!” star was also recently seen on the set of the Leeds-based film. Brosnan was looking rather silly in a blue tracksuit and an Adidas jumper. Wearing a black cap and clear-framed sunglasses, he added the trainer’s unique twist to the ensemble.
The actor was seen meeting up with Ingle’s grandson, Luca, and his sons, John and Dominic, on the set, where they were all brought to watch the film being made.

The family reportedly studied the script and offered some feedback on how Ingle’s part was written. Before dying in 2018 at the age of 77, the trainer enjoyed a record-breaking career as a fighter and trainer.
Following a 19–14 record in 34 bouts as a competitor, Ingle went on to establish himself as a renowned trainer and management. He gained notoriety at the Sheffield gym for his footwork drills.
The sports champion then began mentoring Naseem at the age of seven, and the two of them broke champions’ records. In honor of his dedication to dealing with young people and their involvement in British boxing, Ingle later received an MBE.
The trainer received an honorary doctorate from Sheffield Hallam University, where he also taught. The eagerly anticipated film will be produced by Sylvester Stallone and directed by Rowan Athale.
For the length of the play, Pierce Brosnan might have to take his beard off, but his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, might be enjoying the clean-shaven appearance. In a 2018 interview with GQ, the actor said that he has grown out his beard even more for his part in “The Son.”
However, the beard was long enough for the actor to put in a tiny braid for the TV show, so he was ready to get rid of it. When asked how his wife felt about his Texas cowboy appearance, he responded, “She tolerates it and she puts up with it, but she wants her Irish boy Pierce back again, not some old goat.”
Given his remarkable resume and his aspirations to continue playing intriguing roles, Smith may have grown accustomed to her husband’s many personas by this point.
