At 77, Dolly has confirmed that the rumors are true. I don’t care who you are or what you think of Dolly Parton, this is a courageous step for her to take, and we wish her the best

Dolly Parton has accomplished almost all that is possible in the music industry.

Nevertheless, the country music star keeps challenging herself and expanding her renown.

According to reports, Dolly’s fans are thrilled to learn that her first rock album will finally be released! The 77-year-old was admitted into the Hollywood Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, one year after turning down the nomination because she didn’t believe she “earned the right.”

She seemed to want to ensure that no one can detect that she doesn’t belong, even if Dolly has finally let her in. Dolly had previously promised to release the rock album in honor of her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and now we finally know when it will be out!

If stories are to be believed, Parton was first reluctant to talk about being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. According to rumors, singer Jolene thought that since her career consists mostly of country music, others would be a better fit.

However, the electorate ultimately decided that Dolly truly belonged there after having a say in the matter. She got to work making sure her nomination had been acceptable as soon as she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in November 2022.

Dolly has said that “Rockstar” will be the title of her next rock album, which is set for release on November 17. As a result, the record is one step closer to being released.

According to reports, nine of the album’s thirty tracks are original. In addition to collaborations with other musicians, the final 21 consist of fresh renditions of songs popularized by the featured artist. Original versions of Sting’s “Every Breath You Take” and Dolly’s goddaughter Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” will be included on the CD.

The album is expected to feature appearances by Stevie Nicks, Steven Tyler, Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, and other well-known guests.

Dolly expressed her opinions about her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on The View earlier this year:

“I just didn’t feel like I deserved it, but I decided to accept it if they insisted on giving it to me after hearing their justification for my inclusion and everything else.”

“But in order to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I will need to do something.”

The full song list for the album is reportedly as follows:

According to Billboard, Dolly stated in a statement, “I am extremely honored and privileged to have collaborated with some of the greatest iconic singers and musicians of all time, and to be able to sing all the iconic songs throughout the album was a joy beyond measure.”

“I sincerely hope that everyone enjoys listening to the album as much as it has been to put together!”

I’m very happy to see Dolly, who is 77 years old, continue doing songs and enjoying her career!
