Emily Gold, a 17-year-old cheerleader on *America’s Got Talent*, killed away suddenly. “Our lovely, compassionate, and affectionate Emily Gold passed away on September 16,” her high school dance team wrote on Instagram. We share the news of her demise with tremendous sadness.
Gold and her group recently participated in *America’s Got Talent*; they made it to the quarterfinals but lost. Judge Simon Cowell gave the team a standing ovation, calling their performance “absolutely brilliant.”
