Losing a loved one is never easy, but losing someone when they are young is particularly traumatic. Many people are feeling this way in the wake of the sudden death of Lizzy Muci, the star of “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings.”
After receiving a stage IV breast cancer diagnosis, Lizzy passed away at the age of 33. On June 27, her father posted the heartbreaking news on Facebook.
In the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her family, Lizzie was summoned to paradise at 11:25 p.m. tonight, the author wrote. We are grateful for all of your support and best wishes throughout her battle. At this time, the family would welcome some private time to grieve, process, and make arrangements. We promise to keep you informed as soon as we learn anything new.
Lizzy had revealed to the public that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in an Instagram post from the previous year.
In 2023, the young racer received a triple-negative stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis; by the time the disease was identified, it had progressed to her liver and lymph nodes.
Lizzy was candid about the various medical procedures she underwent during her battle. She traveled to Germany specifically to obtain advanced liver treatment.
Lizzy first gained notoriety when she and her father, Pat, made an appearance on the Discovery Channel show “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings.” She proceeded to win additional Pro Street World championships.
