The 59-year-old actor talked about how he suffered a broken kneecap during production.Renowned for his action-packed career that includes hits like The Matrix and the John Wick series, Reeves disclosed how something relatively harmless killed him.
Colbert inquired of Reeves, “What took place? How did they get to you?
The actor shot back, saying, “No one got to me,” and then, “Accident got to me,” in a playful yet manly accent.

According to Keanu, it happened while they were filming a scene for the upcoming comedy Good Fortune with Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen. Unfortunately, he stuck his foot in a pocket while doing so.
Keanu stood up to walk in front of Stephen’s desk and used his knee weakness as an example of what had transpired. Like, spiked,” he said, mimicking my own sensation. “I also spiked.” “Just drove it into the ground.”
“My kneecap, or patella, broke like a chipped potato. But I was unaware of that. But after my knee burst, Keanu continued.
“Man, comedy is hard,” Keanu jokingly said.
“Aziz and Rogen were not in an action movie,” Stephen emphasized once more.
Keanu clarified, “It was comedy.”
