Richard started doing a lot of exercise when he was little. Even at the age of eight, he was able to bench press over thirty pounds! Even at eleven, he was able to lift 53 pounds!
Now that he’s twenty-four, it’s hard to characterize him as a jock.
After earning the moniker “Little Hercules,” he received several invitations to contests, TV shows, periodicals, ads, and even motion pictures. Richard’s family moved to California in order to enable their kid to realize his full potential for this reason.
The boy’s father, a former martial arts world champion, monitored his diet, exercise regimen, and daily activities. The man was constantly reprimanded for abusing his son and causing him a great deal of stress.
Richard reported to the police that his father had abused his mother when he was eleven years old. After being detained, the man was accused of domestic abuse.
The child had stopped talking to his father and had lost all memory of him. For a while, he kept practicing, but it became less and less.
“I don’t try to hide this part of my life from anyone, and I am quite proud of my accomplishments as a young person,” Richard declares at the moment. “I truly don’t want to live that way any longer,” he declares. “They tried to make me look like some kind of natural monster.”
Richard still works out, but not to the same obsession as before. He likes to skate and runs every morning. He does stunts for the Los Angeles production of “Waterworld,” where he must jump into the water from a great height and is set on fire at least five times a day.
“A scientist practicing quantum physics… or an engineer at NASA, why not?” was his surprising response when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up.
