Happy Birthday Princess Lilibet. Only King Charles had a present for her, amid family feud

Princess Lilibet had just one meeting with her grandpa King Charles during the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, but he nevertheless took the time to give her a birthday present.
According to royal historian Tom Quinn, Princess Lilibet celebrated her third birthday today and got a special present from King Charles.
Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a large birthday celebration at their Montecito, California, home. They invited close friends to the celebration, but many of them were conspicuously absent due to the continuing strife within the Royal Family.

King Charles made care to remember it even though he was not invited. He gave his granddaughter a present and a heartfelt message. Quinn revealed, “King Charles didn’t want to completely ignore Lilibet’s birthday, so he sent a gift and a message.”
The king is holding onto this special present until the day the family feud ends. “This year, he hopes to give Lilibet something similar,” he stated. “He sent Prince George an exquisite wooden swing that was handmade and had George’s name engraved on it. “Not until the family feud dies down,” Quinn said. The king’s options are restricted as Meghan has established certain guidelines about what constitutes a gift.
Superstars like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom did, however, attend Lilibet’s celebration. Rather of overspending on gifts, Harry and Meghan chose to throw a lavish pre-birthday party and invited a large number of celebrities to their California home. Daisy, Perry and Bloom’s daughter who is just a few months older than Lilibet, went to the celebration with them.

The couple’s neighbors Ellen DeGeneres, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Oprah Winfrey were among the guests. Notably, invitations were not sent to members of the Royal Family. Quinn said, “It’s shocking that no Royal Family members were invited to Lilibet’s party.”
