After 46 years of marriage, Donny Osmond and his wife Debbie share a closeness that goes far beyond “Puppy Love.”
The woman, according to him, keeps his “feet on the ground.” The couple, who are presently on a months-long national tour, made a stop in Kansas City recently, where they were seen looking gorgeous.
Pictures shot after Osmond’s sold-out show at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts feature the couple alongside Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, and his spouse Tammy, whom he calls “royalty”.
In the 1970s, as busy as he was fifty years ago, Donny Osmond became a global celebrity as a teenage heartthrob.
After spending 11 years in the city with his sister Marie, the 66-year-old man triumphantly returned to Las Vegas in 2019 to lead his first solo residency at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino. His return is planned for autumn of 2024.
But before any of that happens, he will tour North America with his Vegas show throughout the summer.
In spite of their hectic schedule, he also says that his wife Debbie “keeps my feet on the ground.”
A lifetime of “love for puppies”
Debbie is rarely seen in sincere social media posts, despite her reluctance to share her husband’s attention.
In 2020, the “Puppy Love” singer shared a heartfelt Valentine’s Day tribute to honor the love of his life.
“I want to publicly express my gratitude for the irreplaceable influence Debbie continues to have in my life,” he writes on Facebook. Not only is she the love of my life, but she is also my best friend and my closest confidante. She raises our five sons, runs the home, spends time with our grandchildren, and runs a business. I really have no idea how she manages to do it all.
He raved about Debbie and claimed that she is the one who keeps him in check in an interview with People.
Debbie seemed simple in some ways, but my life was quite complicated. Debbie has made my life more stable. She keeps me firmly on the ground.
Putting together a show in Kansas City
Just before his tour took him to Indiana on June 11, Osmond sent a thank-you note via Instagram to his fans in Kansas City who filled the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts for his performance.
The performer shared several photos of himself on stage, later with Debbie, and with Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, and his spouse Tammy.
The author states, “Last night in Kansas City was rockin’.” What a terrific sold-out crowd at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Even royalty was present. Andy Reid and his wife, Tammy, joined us. GO CHIEFS! Thank you, Kansas City.
Fans were motivated by his essay to jump into the comments section and express their thoughts.
One admirer comments, “Nice, Debbie looks beautiful as always, someday I would love to meet her.” Another says, “Debbie, you look gorgeous.”
Upon meeting Reid, some internet users were overjoyed and yelled, “OMG Donny!!” How? How lucky you are! Andy Reid and the Chiefs are amazing! Deb and Donny, you two are really enjoying yourselves!
“To-do list”
The two were seen eating with a group of friends at a BBQ restaurant the day before.
His description accompanying the photo reads, “I just had dinner at my favorite barbecue restaurant while I’m in Kansas City.” It is referred to as Q39. If you haven’t gone yet, you are missing out on a fantastic supper. Debbie and I had dinner with some friends there. “You can tell how much I enjoyed it,” he says. I almost ate the bone.
“Donny, I went to South Texas and we had Mexican food. You ate chicken mole. Someone on the internet says, “You were really kind to EVERYONE.”
“I’m very excited to meet Debbie,” comments someone else. She’s a very elegant and beautiful woman, and I’ve always wanted to visit her. I love each and every one of you.
We’re going to see a ton more photos of Osmond and his wife over the coming months!
