Baby who weighed 16 pounds in 1983 is now an adult and still known for his huge size

An incredible journey began in 1983 when twenty-four-year-old Patricia Clarke learned she was expecting her second child. Her guess was that her child will be a little larger than typical because her family was known for having very huge babies. But she had no idea how big her kid would turn out to be.

Patricia gave birth to a child named Kevin Robert Clark. He was extraordinarily huge for his birth weight—more than sixteen pounds! As a result, he may be the biggest baby to be delivered at Community Memorial Hospital and in all of New Jersey. Thankfully, Kevin was in good health, despite being too large for a standard crib and newborn attire.

Kevin’s bulk originally drew attention to him. He even appeared on TV shows like “Good Morning America” and “Saturday Night Live,” and he generated a lot of national conversation.

However, Kevin’s growth didn’t stop there. He kept growing, and by the time he was 12 years old, he was 5 feet 7 inches tall. In junior high, he was six feet five inches tall. The fact that people were now asking him how tall he was amused Kevin. He remarked, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21.” When someone asks me if I play basketball, I reply that I play miniature golf.

Kevin stands six feet nine inches tall and is 39 years old. He lives with his 6-foot-6 wife and Great Dane and was in the military before. He says he’s gotten used to being bigger than almost everyone and has accepted his uncommon stature.

Although he seems to be doing well, Kevin’s life has been an adventure in handling attention and people’s interest. He’s a great example of how to live a self-assured life and embrace your individuality. Kevin’s story has greatly motivated us, and we hope that all of his future endeavors succeed!
