Mary-Kate Olsen says she and her twin sister felt like ‘little monkey performers’ – they quit acting entirely

Their most recent film collaboration, “New York Minute,” wasn’t well received by reviewers. Following that, the sisters declared they were giving up acting to pursue jobs as fashion designers.

They attempt to maintain a low profile, thus they don’t disclose a lot about their personal lives. There are rumors that Marry-Kate Olsen was dating actor Heath Ledger in 2008, the year his death rocked the world. She never personally verified this.

Marry-Kate was now wed to Oliver Sarcozy, a French financier residing in the US and the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarcozy. Three years after they first started dating, they got married in 2015.

Ashley was seen dating boyfriends twice her age before she married artist Louis Eisner.

The lovely Elizabeth, the younger twin, is embracing acting as her future profession. Her sisters are incredibly encouraging and show up to her movie premieres. Elizabeth made a significant breakthrough in the suspense drama “Martha Marcy May Marlene” in 2011.

“Mary-Kate and Ashley have always seemed like women, and I’ve always been the child.” But we have a close relationship, and I greatly admire them. Their notoriety didn’t truly impact me until I started college. People would assume that I would be out having fun and doing other things. Elizabeth said to Daily Telegraph that “it was really strange.”

Even though Ashley and Marry-Kate parted ways, their friendship endures. They are very supportive of one another and quite close.
