Sally Field recently turned 76 – try not to smile when you see her today

Sometimes, in order to stay up with the glamour of Hollywood, one must undergo operations like plastic surgery to appear younger. It goes without saying that many celebrities choose for cosmetic surgery to preserve their youthful appearance and the opportunities it offers.

However, actress Sally Field is one of the few in the movie business who is unwilling to follow this trend.

Given that Field has acted in films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Forrest Gump, Norma Rae, and Sweetheart, it is safe to assume that her career has been spectacular. In addition, she is a nominee for three Primetime Emmy Awards, two BAFTA Film Awards, two Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two SAG Awards, and most recently, the Life Achievement Award.

Despite being seventy-six years old, she still looks fantastic and is happy with her appearance. She looked great in black for her SAG Achievement Award speech and accepted her naturally gray hair.

“I felt hesitant, reserved, and out of the spotlight. However, I had no idea what I would say or do while performing live. I would surprise myself,” said the actress. “It’s fantastic, but I wasn’t looking for recognition or appreciation.”

The actress continued, “Being an actor has always been about preserving those priceless moments when I feel whole, thoroughly, and sometimes dangerously alive.” There has never been a simple method to get there.

They made me feel comfortable being vulnerable and showed me sides of myself I never would have known. I have worked my entire life. She claimed that in her over 60 years of acting, “I have never been happier to identify as an actor.”

In 2016, she was asked if her portrayal of the elderly and eccentric Doris Miller affected her in any way.

“It’s okay, I’m an elderly woman—seventy is old.” My years have given me strength; I’ve earned the right to own them and have owned them. Field told NPR, “And it’s okay, even if I don’t like my neck and a lot of other things.”

And while there’s a fierce fight against ageism in Hollywood, Field sticks to her own principles of aging naturally. “Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck,” I think to myself when I watch myself on TV. Your eyes are sticking out, and your face is getting smaller. However, I then notice some of the women who have undergone plastic surgery—people I used to find so lovely. I’m experiencing oh no right now. Avoid doing it! “And that would seem disrespectful to who they are right now,” she had said earlier.

Field went through two unions and two dissolutions. In 1986, she got married to Steven Craig, and the two of them had two boys. The two made the decision to part ways in 1975.

She dated Burt Reynolds before she married film producer Alan Greisman. Field and Greisman are the parents of a son.

In the end, she decided to give her career her whole attention, although becoming a grandmother was a turning point in her life.

She accepted her new employment and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at her gorgeous beach property with views of the ocean.

We love Sally Field so much.
