The loss of Betty White devastated millions of people around the globe. Throughout her career, the actress made millions of people laugh and smile, and she was adored by many.
One of the busiest performers in Hollywood was actress Betty White. With a career spanning over seven decades, she might have had one of the most distinguished careers to date!
Being single and without biological children, the actress’s wealth appears to have no beneficiaries. There is a rumor that her pets got some too!
The land has not been for sale since Betty White and her husband, Allen Ludden, purchased it in 1968.
On the Sotheby’s website, the realtors have given a thorough description of the property. There were five bedrooms and six full bathrooms in the residence. The home measured 3,029 square feet and included 0.72 acres of outdoor space. Constructed in 1952, the mansion was situated amidst the picturesque suburb of Brentwood Park.
There were views of the Getty Museum and the Alps from the property. There was also a large, well-kept garden included!
Tours would only be available to qualified parties—and only of the grounds, not the insides—per the realtor’s website. The description said that the house was being sold for its land value.
In March 2022, the actress put her Carmel, California, beachside house up for sale. The property was completed in 1981, three years after White and her husband purchased the land in 1978.
On New Year’s Eve of last year, the beloved entertainer passed away, just weeks short of turning 100. After her passing, a lot of memorial services were performed in her honor.
This is why some people would find it hard to believe that the home the late actress had spent so many years lovingly tending to is now in ruins.
Right now, the house is in ruins. Photographs taken from above show that the actress’s previous home is now merely a pile of dirt.
It is tragic to think that the actress’s house has been destroyed. She most certainly had many treasured memories with the people she loved in that house, where she spent her final moments.
The property sold for approximately $10.7 million in June of last year. It was expected that the property, being classified as a teardown, would be demolished to create space for new building.
