Famous German actor Eric Braeden, best known for playing Victor Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” has released an open video discussing his fight against cancer. The 82-year-old actor revealed in his poignant statement that he is receiving immunotherapy following his cancer diagnosis.
In a Facebook Live session, Braeden disclosed that, while recuperating from knee surgery, problems with his prostate led to a regular checkup that unexpectedly revealed his cancer diagnosis. “High-grade” cancer cells were discovered close to his bladder, he mentioned.
Even with his health issues, Braeden is still contributing to the serial opera. He said, “I’m happy to be able to go to work,” expressing his passion of performing and his resolve to do better. I’ll soon be back to my best.
