Known for her unique curly brown locks when she made her cinematic debut in the 1980s, popular actress Andie MacDowell is today fighting to be accepted for her gray hair as a diva.
According to MacDowell, who ages gracefully, she likes “comparing herself to George Clooney, because why not?”
The 65-year-old Andie MacDowell has been a senior citizen since her birthday on April 21. She has nothing to hide and is naturally beautiful.
The Southern belle began her career as a model for Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, and Armani. Her debut motion picture appearance was in Greystroke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes, released in 1984. In the Oscar-nominated film, MacDowell played Jane, but Glenn Close dubbed her voice because of how much of a drawl she had.
Later, when the endearing, soft-spoken actor appeared as a supporting cast member on St. Elmo’s Fire, alongside the close-knit Brat Pack, he won over fans.
Following that, she directed Steven Soderbergh’s Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), for which she received her first Golden Globe nomination.
