They were one of the most well-known twin sets of the 1990s, liked and admired by people all around the world. But before you see how the Sprouse lads appear today, hold your breath.
Cope Sprouse and Dylan have spent practically their whole lives in the public eye. The stunning twins with mesmerizing blue eyes began appearing in TV shows, movies, and ads at the age of eight months. Notably, the two became well-liked when they played Patrick Kelly in the television series Grace Under Fire from 1993 until 1998.
Just as the Olsen sisters, the Sprouse twins shared plenty of roles due to child labor laws that prevent children from working too many hours.
When they costarred with Adam Sandler in the 1999 movie Big Daddy, they made their big screen debut and won over millions of fans with their superb acting and well-timed lines.
In 2022, Cole discussed Sandler with People and stated, “Maybe I’m a little biased because I’ve known him for ages, but I do admire his career.” He strikes a really beautiful balance between art and business, which is, in my opinion, the mark of a true working actor. “I think it’s amazing that he’s raising all of his friends at the same time and walking that line beautifully,” he said.
Cole started acting independently in 2020 after being chosen to play David Schwimmer’s son Ross Gellar on the beloved television sitcom Friends.
When asked which episode was his favorite, Cole said that it was The One with the Holiday Armadillo.”I have a clear memory of that. He remarked, “I was enamored with the outfits and their useful effects. “I think I fell in love with Jennifer Aniston, which at the time was the whole world.” However, I do recall feeling rather scared around her as a result. In an interview with Today, Cole said, “I remember blanking on my lines and having kind of stage fright when she sat next to me on the couch in one episode.”
In the movie Master of Disguise, the brothers later played the part of young Pistachio Disguisey together once more.
But they became well-known as young celebrities after landing The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2005, where they portrayed twin siblings who reside in the opulent Tipton Hotel with their single mother. The Suite Life on Deck, which ran until 2011, took over after the series, which ended in 2008.
Dylan and Cope both took a break from acting after the series to attend college. Zack, Dylan’s twin brother, chose to pursue the humanities and archeology while Dylan focused on video game design.
“I needed to step back and observe the world from a different perspective, I needed a reality check, and I needed to take a break.” And today, I believe I can enjoy acting, which is a crucial aspect of being an actor, Cole remarked. “It was labor, but I’m not saying we didn’t have fun at that period. It’s a business and a career that has helped me get into college, which is one of the best gifts I could have ever received. However, I’m happy to be [acting] freely at this point.
Following their graduation, these charming brothers went back into performing. Dylan, who is engaged to Sports Illustrated model Barbara Palvin, began his acting career in movies such as Dismissed and Banana Split. Cole, who is presently dating French-Canadian model Ari Fournier, earned the part of Jughead Jones on Riverdale.
“I’m more likely to write something for us to collaborate on than to have someone come up to us. Twin films are seldom enjoyable! Dylan stated in 2020, “That’s just the universal truth I believe the universe has given us, so yeah, if we can find the right thing then, yeah.”
We are happy that these two performers have accomplished success in the film industry, having grown up right in front of our very eyes.
